The whole gender issue posted on: 11/3/2003 7:58:20 PM I was not going to come to the board at all about this issue but one thing some of you fail to take into account. It's a vocabulary term known as HERMAPHRODITE----meaning-- being born with the characteristics of both the male and female gender (which can be the apendages of both sexes or just down to barely anything discernable) Usually the doctors at birth pick which sex is most prominent, often to the detriment of the child in later years when they discover they are not the sex the doctors chose for them.... Who are we to judge anyone on something that is medical in nature, only god can judge and obviously he had a plan or it wouldnt be as it is.. I have known Beast and angel for some years now and they have never forced nor imposed their beleifs on me nor others that were aquainted with them. I have seen pictures, real pictures and I can tell you HE and yes I mean HE looks like a man, dresses like a man, lives his life like a man and even shaves his face like a man...(yes whiskers people) Obviously somewhere along the lines of a developing baby in his mothers womb things got mixed up, and only a hypocrate would dare to judge someone for it.. ***He gives us each our own trials and tribulations and it is we that must overcome them, and be stronger for it*** Dark Lace , from the city of dust |

Or was born with both a penis and a vagina? -Confused look- If this is the case I must offer my apologies for any dispute,as clearly "she" must infact be a man? or a Wo-Man? Forgive my sarcasim but dont try any pull out the whole Hermorphodite b/s at this stage. |

HE lives HIS life as a MALE.. dresses , acts, talks, thinks and does pretty much everything as a MALE.. HE is more comfortable as a MALE .. therefore legitly stating that HE IS A MALE.. therefore.. proving the point.. that HE never decieved anyone.. or lied to anyone.. or anything to hurt anyone.. (born with both male and female characteristics) that does not mean a penis and vagina, it can be both or as little as no breasts and male hormones (facial hair, etc. in a doctor chosen female), or in a doctor chosen male to really be a female inside. If you want complete facts on the medical explinations you can look it up. You are obviously missing the entire POINT,which is, D-E-C-E-P-T-I-O-N. It dosent matter how good a person "HE" is the fact remains that "HE" has been deceptive and untruthful. And in the world of Gorean roleplay where intimacy between Man and slave does play an active part this type of deception is intollerable. |

All he did was play the role of a Master and in my opion was one of the better ones in here. Oh and god forbid someone needed a signature or something, who did they ask, and who did they come to... And he always had the time for it, you can ask anyone that knows him well.. |

replied on: 11/3/2003 8:40:40 PM It is as simple as this, If Beast was born as a female, and she is lesbian,she may infact have facial hair,this is common in pre-op transexuals as they are prescribed male hormone drugs to make the trasnformation easier. The fact still remains the same, If Beast was born as woman, and is portraying the role of a Gorean man, this gender bending in my opinion is totally and completely deceitful and totally un acceptable. John Norman did not write the Novels of Gor with theese ideals in mind,perhaps he was a bit old fashioned. One can love a novel they have read,but for a female to,no matter her sexual preference or gender issues to portray a Gorean man in interractive roleplay with unlike minded people, in my individual opinion is totally un acceptable. Deceitful. This is the last I will say on this matter. replied on: 11/3/2003 8:57:29 PM And the one thing I will say is that in his time in Gor, Beast has had more dignity in his little finger than many of the so called Goreans who grace the pages of this appropriately titled Soap Box. I have always considered Beast an intelligent person who has done his best to make Gor a better place for all of us to enjoy. Shame on the people who would bring a persons personal situation to the board like so much laundry. I will continue to consider Beast a friend and fellow Gorean and yes, I do indeed have the balls to say so. |
